ELO Rating Calculator

This utility enables you to calculate your ELO rating change and your performance rating according to the rules of the Swiss Chess Federation. Read more on the formulas we use.

1. Enter your initial ELO:
   Example: 1450
2. Enter your progress coefficient: K=36K=24K=16
   Note: Use K=36 when your ELO<2200 and when (i) your age is less than or equal to 25 years; (ii) you are less than 2 years in the Swiss Chess Federation rating list; or (iii) your initial rating is based on less than 20 games. Use K=24 when your ELO<2200 and when you do not fulfill any of the three conditions above. Use K=16 when your ELO>=2200.
    
3. Enter your results in the box below:
   
   Example: +1850 =1600 -1900 +1300
   Explanation: For each game, input its result first (+ for win, = for draw, - for loss) followed by the rating of your opponent. Separate games by white space.
